Opis projektu:

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Platform Engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable, and secure environments for modern business and research workloads.

In this role, you will work with advanced distributed storage technologies, cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes ecosystems, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions. You’ll help shape and operate highly available infrastructure platforms across hybrid and cloud environments while collaborating with engineering and operations teams on automation, reliability, and security initiatives.

Twój zakres obowiązków:

Design, build, and continuously improve modern infrastructure and storage platforms
Operate and optimize scalable, highly available infrastructure services
Work with distributed storage technologies such as Weka, Qumulo, and Ceph
Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based container platforms
Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Manage secrets and security solutions using HashiCorp Vault
Apply DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices in daily operations
Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability across complex distributed systems
Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and operational support
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve scalability, resiliency, and platform security

Nasze wymagania:

Must-Have Knowledge and Experience:

Strong experience in infrastructure engineering and platform operations
Hands-on experience with distributed storage technologies: Weka, Qumulo, and/or Ceph
Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Good understanding of DevOps culture and engineering practices
Experience working in SRE or reliability-focused environments
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
Experience supporting production environments and incident response processes
Understanding of scalability, high availability, and resiliency concepts
Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of networking and cloud-native infrastructure concepts
Scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash, or Go are a plus)
Strong communication skills and professional English proficiency

Nice-to-Have Knowledge and Experience:

Experience working with sensitive or regulated environments
Understanding of security, compliance, and data protection principles
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secrets management practices
Familiarity with encryption technologies and secure infrastructure design
Understanding of GDPR and security governance processes
Experience implementing least-privilege access models
Exposure to audit logging, compliance reporting, and operational governance
Security-first mindset with strong focus on reliability and risk reduction
